At The Wilder Townhouse, hospitality extends far beyond the guest experience. As part of The Chesway Collection, there is a shared commitment to supporting local communities, protecting the surrounding environment and creating meaningful impact through collective action.

Community engagement plays an important role across the collection. Teams at both properties actively volunteer with local Tidy Towns initiatives, supporting regular clean up efforts around Adelaide Road in Dublin and the St Luke’s and Montenotte areas in Cork. These initiatives reflect an ongoing commitment to caring for the neighbourhoods and communities the hotels are proud to call home.

For 2026, The Chesway Collection is proud to support Breakthrough Cancer Research as its charity partner. Throughout the year, teams across the collection will take part in fundraising and awareness initiatives in support of the organisation’s vital work. Recent efforts have included participation in the “100K Steps for March” challenge, alongside volunteering at the charity’s St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre pop up activation in Dublin.

These initiatives form part of a wider philosophy centred around people, place and purpose, ensuring the collection continues to contribute positively both within and beyond its hotel walls.
