We stayed at the Wilder and were blown away by how beautiful this townhouse is. We were very kindly upgraded to a suite and had a welcome drink waiting for us in the bar on arrival which was a real treat. The breakfast was very tasty and the location is fantastic. The hotel has thought of everything, is extremely clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful, even sent me on RAL colours of their windows on request ?. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

From check in to check out, we were so well looked after by all the staff in the wilder during our stay. Room ready early check, room turned down while we were out check, car left in car park check, friendliness of reception & dining room staff check, comfy bed check, ticked all the boxes!! Such nice people working here! This is a very elegant and beautifully appointed inn but its real strength is all the professional yet friendly staff members. Also, the breakfast was sumptious and we were never rushed. Appreciate everyone! Hope to return for a stay again, what a wonderful visit we had here.

A truly wonderful stay at The Wilder. Superb staff and service, the room was delightful and as for the breakfasts - well absolutely delicious, thoroughly recommend the Eggs Benedict. We stayed for five nights both pre and post our wedding which was held locally. The staff couldn't do enough for us. This was my second visit to The Wilder and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel feels intimate and the staff are wonderful. It’s the little extras that sets it apart from other hotels. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had and the location is perfect - a nice quiet street a 10 minute walk from St Stephen’s Green. I think I’ll always stay at The Wilder when I return to Dublin.

Spent a WONDERFUL Dublin weekend here with my husband and my parents. The staff took excellent care of us, from adjusting one of the reservations to accommodate for a very early arrival to opening breakfast a little early on our last day so my parents could have something before their early flight. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet, breakfasts were excellent and had a great range of options, and the artisanal gin and tonics were a great way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. This is going to be my go-to Dublin hotel from now on!

The staff was wonderful and I loved all the little memorable touches, from the delicious gin & tonics to the little surprises at turn-down.

A delightfully quaint hotel just two blocks from St. Stephen’s Green in a leafy neighborhood away from the “wilder” Dublin, but close enough to walk there. The accommodations are classic, but current, and the dining room and bar are very pleasant. The Wilder’s smaller scale makes you feel at home. I would book here again and again.

One of the best small hotels I've ever stayed in. Made our trip to Dublin.Our room and the breakfast room were so charming and it was delightful to sit in their geranium adorned patio for a drink. The staff was superb -- very friendly, informative, efficient, there to help with any needs that arise. I would return to Dublin just to stay at the Wilder!

Experience beyond our expectations. We had a room upgrade on arrival to an exquisite deluxe. Very large and very comfortable room. The complementary G & T and olives was timely following our long drive. The staff were all extremely kind and courteous; thoroughly professional from front of house to house keeping. Excellent location. Would highly recommend.

This hotel is as near a 5 star rating you could want. The rooms though small are comfortable, clean and pleasant. We were on the top floor, so though no view and no squeeking floorboards mentioned in a review earlier, we were very happy with the room. My wife thought the hotel provided the best breakfast she had ever had, though I being a dinosaur felt the full Irish was good. Unfortunately I'm not a fruit and yoghurt person. The choice for breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect, quiet but easy to walk into the main areas of the city. Great to have good music bars and regular bars nearby. Perfect. Last of all but saving the best. The staff were fabulous, attentive, helpful and super friendly, couldn't ask for more. From the friendly lad in the bar who served us our complimentary gin to the super attentive breakfast staff, great job. If I was in Dublin again and could afford to stay here again I would. I'm grateful to you for being a part of lovely weekend away.

We stayed at the Wilder for our wedding. The Lady Jane suite was beautiful, the whole building is full of character. Rachel who served us at breakfast was so kind, friendly and helpful and helped make us feel special for our wedding, we really appreciated her, she is fantastic at her job.

Three friends and I arrived at The Wilder at 6:00AM one Wednesday morning. From the moment of our arrival - even at that early hour - we were welcomed warmly and treated as special guests. We were charmed by every aspect of The Wilder - the rooms, the artwork, the patio area, the courtyard and of course the attentive staff. The Garden Room offered delicious breakfasts, a tasty dinner and perfect drinks and beverages. Our waitress Rachel was a delight, as were all members of The Wilder staff team. We could not have been more satisfied by our experience.

I would highly recommend the Wilder to anyone traveling to Dublin. The hotel is located away from the super touristy area in a calm, quiet, neighborhood near St. Stephens Green. When we arrived at the hotel, we were pleased that our rooms were available prior to the check-in time. We stayed in the Lady Jane Suite and my friend stayed in a Shoebox room. Both rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The Lady Jane Suite was just what we needed after a long flight from the US. Both the living space and the bathroom were spacious. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is bright and welcoming and both the spread of breads/fruit and hot breakfast options were delicious. I will most certainly stay at the Wilder again.
